This Whatman™ 58 x 58cm grade 91 general-purpose crêped filter paper sheet is intended for less critical routine analysis. It is widely used to assay sucrose in sugar and within pharmaceutical laboratories for routine filtration. Extremely strong filter paper it has a high wet strength due to the addition of a small quantity of chemically stable resin. The resins do however contain nitrogen so this grade should not be used in Kjeldahl estimations etc. Normal qualitative applications will not introduce any significant impurities into the filtrate. Retention: 10µm. Dimensions: 58 x 58cm.
